Spain is the second most popular tourist destination in the world, in 2007 almost 60 mill. tourists went to Spain. There is a reason for this, Spain has a very pleasent climate with lots of sunshine, warm weather and little rain, especially in the southern parts and on the islands. So if you want to get away from winter, spain is the place to go to, and in summer it is usually not to hot and the air is relatively dry.
