The capital city of Argentina, Buenos Aires, is one of the most important cities in Latin America. One of the most interesting attractions of Buenos Aires is its architecture. The Obelisk, which is a famous monument af Buenos Aires, was build in May 1936 to commemorate the 400th anniversery of the foundation of Buenos Aires. It is constructed at the site where the Argentinean flag was flown for the first time. This towering structure is more than 67 menetrs high and 49 square meters wide. Also visit La Boca, this is the port where most of the immigrants coming from Spain and Italy settled down at the beginning of the century. This place is so outstanding for its typical houses of zinc and wood.
