Several of the golf courses up and down the region have been designed by Seve Ballesteros. The combined prestige of world famous course designers, together with the very well maintained golf courses and the all year round Mediterranean climate, make the Valencia region a golfers paradise. The variety of courses means that there are courses for the beginners as well as those that have been playing for many years.

The following courses are those closest to Valencia city center: Campo de Golf El Saler; Campo de Golf Manises; Club de Golf Escorpion; Club de Golf Olivia Nova; and El Bosque Golf & Country Club. 

Campo de Golf El Saler is situated in the Albufera Nature Park on the shores of the Mediterranean, just south of Valencia city. It is laid out on a terrain dotted with pine trees and sand dunes. The course is more than 30 years old, and considered to one of the most prestigious golf courses. Campo de Golf Manises is the oldest of the Valencia clubs. It is a 9-hole course, whose flat layout requires precision and constancy because the fairways are narrow and flanked by dense trees, and the greens are small and surrounded by numerous bunkers.

Club de Golf Escorpion is located in a lovely valley, surrounded by small hills covered with pine trees. The course is picturesque and has five lakes, on which numerous birds nest. Club de Golf Olivia Nova is one of the most recent creations of Seve Ballesteros. It is on the southernmost point of the coastline of Valencia and consists of an 18-hole course. There are great opportunities for players of all kinds as there are short, medium and long holes. El Bosque Golf & Country Club is situated just 15 minutes from Manises airport and 25 minutes from the city center. It has 18 holes with narrow fairways and a lot of local vegetation. There are four lakes which could prevent you from keeping your score down.
