Latin America has a whole world full of tourist attractions. There are all the historical sites with building and construction remains from the various indian cultures dating a very long time back before the Europeans arrived. Also there are interesting buildings and parts of cities from the Spanish period as well as more modern, almost unbelievable constructions like the Panama Canal.
Latin America is also a place of undisputed natural beauty, like for instance the Iguazu Falls, which lies on the border of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay, and the Moreno Glacier, located in the heart of Patagonia, on the border of Argentina and Chile.
The Amazon Rainforest still remains the largest tropical rain forest on the planet. One-tenth of all the world's species are found here and visitors will find themselves surrounded by pleasantly unfamiliar sights and sounds. A range of activities are available to tourists, including nocturnal hikes, bird-watching and canoe explorations.
Latin America has some of the best beaches in the world. One of the top coastal destinations is Costa Rica, with its stunning array of palm-fringed Caribbean and Pacific beaches, but also on the various Caribbean islands and along the Caribbean cost you find some of the prettiest beaches in the world.
